Services

Everything above ground level, under one contract

Our services can be used in conjunction with each other or called upon individually. Each is delivered by a specialist team working to the same planning and safety standard.

Contract Lifting

We take full responsibility for the lift: planning, appointed person, crane and equipment selection, supervision and all supporting documentation. You get a complete, managed operation rather than a crane on hire.

  • CPA contract lift with full duty of care held by us
  • Appointed person, lift plan and site-specific RAMS
  • Crane, rigging and lifting accessory selection
  • Supervision, slinger signallers and completion records
More on contract lifting

Lifting & Access

Appointed person services, crane selection and rigging design, mobile elevating work platforms and specialist access. We plan the lift around your site constraints rather than the other way round.

  • Appointed person and lift plan production
  • Mobile, crawler and spider crane provision
  • Slinger signaller and lift supervision
  • Restricted-access and over-sailing lifts

Traffic & Pedestrian Management

Road space bookings, closures, diversions, temporary traffic signals, convoy working and safe pedestrian routes around your works — handled end to end.

  • Local authority permits and road space booking
  • Temporary traffic signals and stop/go boards
  • Signed diversion routes and closures
  • Compliant pedestrian walkways and crossings

MEWP Management

Working at height is risky business and we want everyone home safe. We offer MEWP hire in line with CPA conditions, or a fully managed approach that takes the risk of the works away from you.

  • CPA MEWP hire or fully managed service
  • Machine selection to suit access and reach
  • Planned by our project and lifting teams
  • Rescue planning and operator competence checks

Transport & HIABs

Our engineers have years of experience with HIAB transportation. From utility cabinets and telecoms structures to modular buildings, we are best placed to plan your works.

  • HIAB delivery, offload and positioning
  • Utility cabinets and telecoms structures
  • Modular buildings and packaged plant
  • Route, permit and escort planning

Ground Protection

Never get stuck in the mud again. We provide a wide range of ground protection products, with our surveyors selecting the most suitable system for your site and loadings.

  • Hand portable trackway matting
  • Aluminium trackway
  • Tufftrak
  • Heavy duty crane mats

Warehousing & Storage

A seven day a week storage service with full warehouse support 24 hours a day, built around your equipment and delivery schedule.

  • Bespoke racking systems
  • 24 hour security
  • Independent stock management and location tracking
  • Inbound and outbound coordination

Site Surveys

As standard we complete a visual on-site survey before the project progresses, capturing everything needed to plan the works through to a safe completion.

  • Access, ground conditions and overhead services
  • Exclusion zones and set-up positions
  • Load data and rigging requirements
  • Photographic survey record

CAD Drawings

Every contract lift, MEWP and traffic management solution requires a specific plan under UK legislation. Our project and lifting teams produce these quickly and accurately.

  • Lift and crane position drawings
  • Traffic management scheme drawings
  • MEWP set-up and access plans
  • Fast turnaround for programme changes

Lift & Shift

Our lift and shift service moves equipment precisely, efficiently and with minimum disruption — from single items through to full factory relocations.

  • Machinery moving and positioning
  • Full factory and office relocations
  • Precision placement in live environments
  • Out of hours and phased moves

E-LIFT

Our electric and low-emission lifting service. Battery-powered R Units, tracked cranes and an EV fleet deliver the same lift with less noise, no diesel on site and measurable carbon savings.

  • Battery R Units and tracked electric cranes
  • EV fleet and solar charging support
  • Quiet working for occupied and residential sites
  • Carbon reporting to support client net zero targets

Last Mile Deliveries

The final leg is where most deliveries go wrong. We take high-value and awkward loads the last mile into live sites, restricted streets and occupied buildings, and place them exactly where they need to be.

  • Booked delivery slots and site access coordination
  • Restricted access, urban and out of hours drops
  • Offload, positioning and internal placement
  • Proof of delivery and photo records via AGLive

Health & Safety

Documentation produced by competent people and reviewed before mobilisation. Solutions designed with safety first, so the plan survives contact with the site.

  • Lift plans, RAMS and permit-to-work support
  • Site-specific risk and exclusion zone assessment
  • Toolbox talks and pre-start briefings
  • Post-works records and certification packs

Project Management

One accountable contact coordinating plant, permits, operatives and communication so the moving parts of a lift don't become your problem.

  • Single point of contact for the project
  • Programme and sequencing coordination
  • Supply chain and plant management
  • Live progress reporting via AGLive

Contract Lifting

A fully managed lift, from survey to sign-off

Anatree Group Logistics provides fully managed Contract Lifting services, delivering a complete, compliant, and risk-controlled solution for lifting operations across all project types.

AGL assumes full responsibility for the planning, supervision, and execution of each lift, including lift planning, engineering calculations, provision of competent personnel, certified equipment, and on-site management.

This approach enables clients to transfer operational risk to AGL while benefiting from a professional, efficient, and expertly delivered lifting solution, particularly suited to complex, high-risk, or logistically challenging environments.

AGL Insurances

Three classes of lift

The difference between them is simple: how much of the risk we carry, and how much stays with you.

Platinum cover

AGL Premium Contract Lift

AGL's highest level of cover. We accept the risks and take ownership of the lifting operation, leaving minimal risk with you or the end user.

  • Goods on hook cover in excess of the CPA £50,000 limit — up to £2,000,000
  • AGL take responsibility for ground conditions in the crane berthing area
  • AGL responsible for safe crane and plant access to site
  • Tyre and puncture cover included
  • Breakdown cover included
  • No excess fee in the event of a claim
  • Wind insurance available

Standard contract lift

CPA Contract Lifting

We plan and manage the lift, but under standard CPA terms a defined set of responsibilities remains with the hirer.

  • Ground conditions, access and egress are the hirer's responsibility
  • Damage caused by or to the plant sits with the hirer until off-hire
  • No breakdown cover
  • Tyres and punctures are the hirer's responsibility once the plant leaves the yard
  • Customer supplies the lift and ground information
  • Inclusive of £25,000 goods on hook insurance
  • Insurance excess charges from £5,000 upwards

Plant only

CPA Hire

You hire the crane and operator and retain responsibility for planning, supervising and insuring the lifting operation. Suitable only if you hold that competence in-house.

  • Public liability for injury or damage arising from use of the plant
  • Damage or injury must be reported to the owner within 24 hours
  • Ground conditions, access and egress are the hirer's responsibility
  • Damage caused by or to the plant sits with the hirer until off-hire
  • No breakdown cover; tyres and punctures the hirer's responsibility off yard
  • Hirer selects cranes, plant and planning
  • Hirer provides method statement, risk assessment and appointed person
  • Hirer insures the plant, continuing hire charges during repair and lifted goods

Our lifting process

Five stages, no surprises

Every contract lift follows the same structured route, whether it's a single precast panel or a phased steel erection programme.

  1. 1. Site survey

We assess access, ground conditions, overhead services, exclusion zones and the load itself before anything is priced.

  2. 2. Lift plan

An appointed person produces the lift plan, method statement and risk assessment, with crane selection and rigging specified.

  3. 3. Mobilisation

Plant, operator, slinger signaller and any traffic management are booked and coordinated to one programme.

  4. 4. Execution

The lift is supervised on site, with live updates issued to your team through AGLive as milestones are hit.

  5. 5. Sign-off

Completion records, inspection certificates and photographic evidence are issued as part of the handover pack.

  • Plant, tanks and packaged equipment
  • Modular and volumetric units
  • HVAC, chillers and rooftop plant
  • Utility and substation equipment
  • Restricted-access and confined lifts
